The InNUvate project focused on building an identity for the creation and introduction of this new program. InNUvate itself brings together a team of four students to initiate a startup with the goal of improving student life on college campuses.

Much color exploration was needed to ensure that the logo icon and logo text could be read easily. The color of the icon and the "NU" part of the text proved difficult at first to place together as they fought for attention.
Without kerning, the word-form is too long to be recognized as "Innovate." The uppercase "NU" occupies significantly more space than a lowercase "no."
